Create Your Own IES Flow Chart

Better See the Situation…Objectively

Instructions

The concept of the IES Flow Chart is to give you the ability to think more in terms of action and consequence/response, than in terms of rumination, F.E.A.R. (Future Events Appearing Real), paranoia, or otherwise. The undesirable trains of thought which occur during times of anxiety, anger, depression, or emptiness are common BPD experiences.

Take your time and work your way through the questions below. Remember, although there is a “best case” and “worst case” scenario, nearly everything in life is a “scale,” and there are many possibilities which may arise between these two scenarios.

Warning

If the “Favorable” outcome is less probable than the “Unfavorable” outcome, try resetting and changing your action/solution!
